Maria is coming back!

So I decided to try and be a Beachbody coach in all the spare time I don't have.

It's free for military and their spouses (if you're interested let me know) so I figured there was no risk and only reward.

I am so overwhelmed. This is not: here's some stuff go sell our shnit. They have a huge PDF and video library, there's real training, it's comprehensive. I'm actually really impressed.

Tomorrow our Nanny comes back. Thank the Lord! She came to us while in school for her Engineering degree. She's graduated but hasn't found a job yet so will be continuing to work for us until then. It helps. It really does. For some reason when I think about it I feel like it's an expense we could do without, and technically that's true: we lived 3 weeks without her during the holidays, but then when she's here I can just breathe easier.

Step one to better organization: Keep a Schedule

I need a schedule to stay organized. Otherwise I find myself at the end of the day with a load of laundry half done, lunches for tomorrow to pack and still not showered.

Today was cleaning the downstairs. After sweeping up the mounds of dog hair (who knew a shepard could shed SO much) it was unanimously decided, by myself, that Wednesdays should be mopping days. It took a little longer but next time I'll be prepared.

My cleaning schedule is: Monday, Wednesday, Friday I clean the basement and main floor, while Tuesdays and Thursdays I clean the second and third floors.

Saturdays I take off. Sundays I mop, do the stairs, and whatever other miscellaneous items that come up.

I lost 3lbs over the holidays, but I think it was muscle.

My office is a mess: unpacked boxes a year old; micelaneous papers covering the desk and ground beneath it; more papers tucked in odd corners; post it notes with "TO DO" lists half crossed out.

It's really quite sad. I'll post a picture.

For January I aim to get this shit hole office  back into shape. I do work out of it at least 5 days a week, the least I could do was pretend like I care.
